Two-car crash in Pennsylvania kills three and injures four

Any motor vehicle accident could potentially be traumatic and devastating. However, when young drivers and young passengers are involved, a fatal accident seriously impacts those closest to them as well as the community. The loss of a loved one is a very emotional and difficult event to get through, and when several young individuals are involved in the automobile collision it can be even more challenging to cope with.

It was recently reported that a two-vehicle collision in western Pennsylvania resulted in three fatalities and injured four others. According to preliminary reports, the crash occurred on the Shenango Valley Freeway at around 10 p.m.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident. It was reported that two high school football players in the Sharon City School District died in the crash. Two other football players were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital. In the other vehicle, the driver was killed and two children, ages 10 and 12, were injured in the crash. Both children were riding in the back of the pickup truck at the time of the collision.

Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine the cause of the crash. If a driver was negligent and caused the crash, they can be held liable for the resulting deaths, injures and damages. Even when the driver does not survive the crash, the injured victims and the loved ones of the deceased victims could file a personal injury lawsuit or a wrongful death claim. This could result in compensation being awarded to cover the expenses associated with the accident.

Losing a loved one in a fatal accident or having a loved one injured in a crash could be a very difficult event. Understanding what options are available could help those impacted heal and cope with the tragic event.
