An early afternoon accident along a state route in another state has left a woman dead and three others injured, including a Red Lion, Pennsylvania, man. The serious car accident occurred on Oct. 25, and is currently being investigated by state police.
According to the police, a 70-year-old woman was travelling eastbound on the approach to a highway when she slowed down to cross the highway’s two southbound lanes to make a turn. At that point, her vehicle was struck by the one driven by the Pennsylvania resident, a 64-year-old man.
By the time authorities and medical help arrived, the injuries to the woman were too severe to provide aid, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. A 53-year-old female passenger in her vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her injuries were described as non-life threatening. Both the Pennsylvania driver and his 69-year-old passenger were injured slightly and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
Although negligence has yet to be determined in this particular car accident, any Pennsylvania resident can seek legal aid when handling the aftermath of a car crash. Whether dealing with an insurance company or trying to receive compensation from a negligence-caused injury, it’s important to realize that you have legal options available to ensure that you receive the financial compensation that you’re entitled to.
