The suit alleges the hospital's negligence in providing support staff that was unable to repair the resection. Along with recovery of the high medical expenses brought about by the additional surgery, the husband claims loss of consortium. The plaintiffs seek over $50,000 from each defendant, and they requested a trial by jury.
