Motorcycle crash with vehicle injures three

When the weather is nice, the residents of Pennsylvania enjoy putting the windows down in their cars or enjoy a ride on their motorcycle. Although it can be an enjoyable experience, driving or riding on a motorcycle as a passenger, these small vehicles can be very dangerous. When a biker is in a crash, the chances of suffering an injury are much greater. Motorcycle accidents are more likely to result in serious injuries or fatalities than car accidents. Although riders often take the precaution and wear helmets, these action do not always prevent injuries or fatalities.

A Friday morning collision in East Vincent occurred between a motorcycle and a Buick Century. The motorcycle was traveling west on Stony Run Road when it collided with the Buick that was turning left into the parking lot. The crash took place around 11 a.m. The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the vehicle, causing him to fly over the top of the car and land on the pavement on the other side of the car. Emergency crews responded to this accident and passed those involved. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, but still suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the Buick and their passenger were treated for minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the accident, and are trying to determine the speed of both vehicles. Liability and cause has not been established at this time.

When someone is injured in an accident because of the negligence of another driver, it is important that they are properly compensated. The injured party could file a personal injury claim in order to cover any financial burdens that resulted from the incident.

Motorcycle accident can be very tragic. Damage and injuries and almost always associate with these types of collisions, so it is important to use caution with driving a motorcycle or driving a vehicle near a motorcycle.
