Car accident leaves one dead, three others injured

A seemingly infinite number of car accidents occur each year in the U.S. And with the advent of texting, there is more distracted driving on the roads than ever before. People are always doing other things while simultaneously operating a motor vehicle, leading to inattentive driving on roads where cars travel at speeds of more than 70 mph. If you or a loved one is the victim of a car accident caused by a distracted driver's negligence, you may be entitled to damages.

Traveling on Pennsylvania's roadways is challenging enough. Doing so while intoxicated is simply asking for trouble. More often than not, people who drive drunk find themselves involved in a number of vehicular accidents, including motorcycle accidents and auto-pedestrian collisions. Many times these incidents result in people being charged with crimes and the victims seeking legal experts who can help them get compensation for medical bills, rehabilitative care and other damages.

A Saturn and a school bus carrying 24 students were recently involved in a head-on collision on Nov. 7 just outside of Easton, Pennsylvania. Three people were injured in the accident, and the two drivers had to be transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. Those people injured in this auto accident through no fault of their own may be entitled to compensation for any damages, such as medical expenses, that resulted from the accident.
